Ghana Rugby seizes opportunity to qualify for world tournament

The Ghana Rugby Football Union (GRFU) has been drawn to take part in the Rugby Afrique Men’s Sevens Tournament that will take place in Kampala Uganda on the 6th and 7th of October 2017.

This tournament serves as the qualifier for the Sevens Rugby World Cup 2018, the Commonwealth Games, and the World Series repechage tournament in Hong Kong.

Romelu Lukaku scored his first Manchester United goal as Jose Mourinho’s side overcame Real Salt Lake 2-1 in a fiery friendly in Utah.

Watford sign Chelsea midfielder Chalobah on fiveyear deal

Watford have signed midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah from Chelsea on a five-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old was part of the England Under-21 side that reached the semi-finals of the European Championships in Poland last month.

Chalobah played 10 times as Chelsea won the Premier League last season.

Spain’s Garbine Muguruza thrashed unseeded Slovakian Magdalena Rybarikova to set up a Wimbledon final against either Britain’s Johanna Konta or five-time champion Venus Williams of the US.

FORMER Parma player Solomon Nyantakyi has confessed to the harrowing murder of his mother and 11-year-old sister.
